Meet Dr. Ron Katyal, DDS

Dr. Ron Katyal, the North Dallas dentist behind Premier Smiles, was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. He completed his undergraduate degree in Economics from Wright State University. He then went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from The Ohio State University in 2000. Following dental school, Dr. Katyal went back to Dayton to complete a general practice residency at Miami Valley Hospital, and he maintains membership with the American Dental Association.

Dr. Katyal has had additional training in dental anesthesia and is certified to perform I.V. sedation in the office. He also has taken extensive continuing education courses to stay current with modern techniques such as cosmetics, endodontics, implantology, and mini-implant placement. Areas of special interest for Dr. Katyal are oral surgery, including wisdom teeth removal.

Outside the office, Dr. Katyal is also a first degree black belt in the Philippine martial arts, and in his spare time he trains Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He enjoys exercise, playing poker with friends, and traveling.
